| Derby is a handsome light blue roan with attitude. He is a strong, compact and well balanced cocker who makes a striking impression in the show ring. He holds a strong resemblance to his great grand father - Grand Ch. Blue Statos, right down to the distintive colour and black spot on his rear. Derby gained his title at just over 14 months of age following a string of successes in shows which includes: a Runner up Best Exhibit in Group 5 In Show Awards: Junior(2), Puppy(2], Baby Puppy(1) 21 In Group awards - Intermediate (4) Junior(4), Puppy(7), Minor(4) and Baby(2) and Several impressive place wins in Sweepstakes. His impressive pedigree features 4 grand champions. On the Sire Side: Grand Ch. Ryangaye Rhythm NTime, Grand Ch. Elswood Dream Machine, Grand Ch. Daykene Dream Catcher and on the Dam Side: Grand Ch. Gunloch Blue Stratos. We thank all our ring-side friends for their support of this dog, their advice and encouragement which made the journey worthwhile. 2010 Update: After much consideration, we have farewelled Derby to a new home overseas. His new owner, Mr. Arabindrah Singh has had great success in the show ring and Derby has now received his Indian Grand Champion title. We have collected semen from Derby and look forward to a Derby-sired offspring in the future. Although Derby is sadly missed, we know that Arabindrah and his family have given him the love and attention he so rightly deserves. |
