Gatsby is my first solid pup bred in my own prefix. Sired by Australian Champion Lochranza Walkaround with Pencandy over my sweet Millie - Australian Champion Britebay Thouroughly Modern.

When you first see Gatsby you are taken with his kind expression and beautiful head. But don't be deceived by this angelic look as he has a cheeky nature and is an absolute ratbag around the house and garden, running from one hiding place to another, jumping out to 'grab' you as you pass by. No pair of socks is safe in our house!

Having a solid black boy to show has been a long awaited dream and I am continuing to enjoy his successes in the show ring.

News Update - Getting better all the time, Gatsby has so far achieved:
1 Baby in Group, 2 Minor in Group and (1 Minor in Show), 7 Puppy in Group and 6 Junior in Group (1 Junior in Show), 6 Intermediate in Group (1 Intermediate in Show), and 6 Australian Bred in Group awards. Including also 4 Runner-Up in Group placings and a Best in Group win. A special highlight was his Reserve Dog placing at the Royal Melbourne Show in 2014 and 2016. Well done Gatsby.

Critiques from The Cocker Spaniel Club of Victoria Championship Show on the 18/2/2012

Derek Shapland - A black dog with a good masculine head and a kind expression. Has strong legs and nicely padded feet (something that is lacking in too many dogs). Has strong quarters which were used well on the move. First Intermediate Dog.

Rodney Wyatt - Well coated black. Moved well with good legs and feet. Held topline on the move. Good bend of stifle. First Intemediate Dog.

Pat Whitehead -Australian Bred Dog (Solid) Cocker National 2014
1st J Biggs. Ch Glenbrook The Great Gatsby. Black, won this class with ease, kind expression, good length of neck, well placed shoulders, level top line kept on the move, good tail set, the best of legs and feet, moved well masculine without coarseness, moved with drive and purpose using his tail.

2014 - Only shown twice this year, Gatsby wins RESERVE DOG AT THE ROYAL MELBOURNE SHOW !!!
2016 - out of retirement to again win RESERVE DOG AT THE ROYAL MELBOURNE SHOW!!!
